Linus Butt, the Grays sponsored German international is very excited at the prospect of playing with his new Grays GX 8000 sticks in his first World Cup in Dehli. He has been trying out his new GX 8000 sticks in the lead up to the tournament and says

" My favourite and the one really like is the balance and feel of is the new Grays GX 8000. It feels so stable when hitting and gives me the feel and touch I am looking for. I prefer the standard blade profile as I find it also helps me push out the penalty corners - which are so important for the team." The 22 year old from Krefeld has come a long way since being encouraged to begin playing hockey by his elder brother Alan and his development to the German national team has been carefully monitored by the former German captain and former Grays user Klaus Michler at his Krefelder club.

Linus says " Everyone at Krefelder knows Klaus was a German great and always used Grays so I feel I am following in his footsteps by also using them." He went onto say that " I am delighted to join the Grays hockey family "

Germany begin the tournament against Korea on Monday where he will not be alone using Grays. The Korean Hockey Association are sponsored by Grays and all the Korean team will also be using Grays sticks.

"It was good to meet up with Neil Mallett here in the hotel and have the chance to discuss the new sticks with him and I appreciate the help and support Grays have provided in getting the sticks I like."

Linus expressed and reflected the feelings of many of the players " I can't wait for the tournament to start "
