Today was the third round of matches in Pool B. It is normally in the third game of international tournaments where a teams destiny in the World Cup is decided if they aspire to be World Champions. The days winners would be being well on their way and the losers find themselves up against it for the rest of the pool matches.

In the first game Australia found their attacking rhythm to record the highest ever recorded win at a World Cup winning 12-0 against South Africa.

In the second game England scored some cracking goals to overcome Pakistan 5-2. In a generally close match where England led 2-0 at half time Ashley Jackson maintained his goal a game record here in Dehli when he deflected a long through ball when unmarked at the far post past the stranded Pakistan keeper.

In the days last game long time Grays sponsored player Pol Amat scored his first goal here in Dehli in his Spannish teams 5-2 win over hosts India. He was named Man of the match afterwards as Spain will still need to wins both their last pool matches against Australia and England if they are going to progress.

At the conclusion of the day, England currently top pool B by maintaining their 100% record, Spain and Australia both have 6 points, India and Pakistan have 3 points and South Africa are still to record a point so far.
