On days when India are not playing in this World Cup tournament means there are is a much smaller crowd inside the stadium. The teams in Pool A were playing their third pool game so crucial in deciding the outcome.

In the first game New Zealand put in a sterling defensive tactics in a display intent on frustrating the Koreans and won the game 2-1. Dean Couzins scored from a penalty stroke for the Kiwis.

After a goalless first half the hardworking Canadians had has some success in frustrating the Dutch but it was not the case in the second half as the Netherlands scored six unanswered goals. Robert Kemperman and Marcel Balkestein had solid games for the Dutch who maintained their 100 % record here in Delhi and look set for the semi finals

In the final game the spirited Argentinians matched the Germans throughout the games and pushed them all the way before eventually losing 4-3. Grays sponsored player Matias Paredes was on the score sheet for the Argentinians.
